Canadian blood services cry for donors, but the hours of operation are ridiculously limiting for anyone who actually has a full time job or has to travel to donate. Maybe try being open Monday to Saturday - 10 am to 7-8 PM.

I will never donate here. Before I moved here I donated every 2 months without issue. I came here and told the phlebotomist I had hEDS and asked what precautions they were going to take. The tech who was going to draw my blood looked at me as if I had three heads and said they take the same precautions for every patient. This is in direct contradiction to the service, compassion and knowledge I got in other cities. I don't know how I waited until my 12th donation to leave a review for this amazing team. Every two weeks, I try to donate multiplasma and every two weeks, I am greeted by smiling nurses that are quick to make you feel welcome and appreciated. Not only will you feel good for supporting a cause larger than you could ever know, but you'll feel great knowing that you're safe in the hands of the experts. Thanks again!

First time i ever donated blood and i was in the right place. All the staff that i met and talked with are friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Hannah (hope i spell right). She promptly attended and did what she can to comfort me when I felt nausea. She even made sure if i’m totally fine when i was in the recovery area. Highly recommend this place. Donate blood, Save lives!

I’ve donated blood with Give Blood over 20 times. This time, I needed to bring my 7-year-old child along, and I was informed of a policy requiring children to be at least 10 years old to accompany donors. I was sent home because of this. I was never made aware of this policy in the past, and it seems they are now enforcing it strictly. If this was something non negotiable, It would have been helpful if this information had been communicated when they called to book my appointment.
