It was my first time donating and everyone was very nice. It’s an easy process and a lot of us students are taking part in donating. The manager and all the staff were great! I think they’re all doing a really good job. I will donate again and booking is really easy. Thanks
I wanted to share something that’s been bothering me. I’ve noticed that some of the French European staffs at Canadian Blood Services don’t seem to treat local and Indigenous people with much respect and leaving bruise marks on the skin. They often avoid speaking English and make others feel unwelcome, which comes across as discriminatory. Few months ago I was disappointed with my experience at the Canadian Blood Services in Sudbury. The staff Sierra seemed to show francophone prejudices, and the environment didn’t feel welcoming or inclusive. It’s unfortunate because donating plasma should bring people together, not make anyone feel left out.
