PLEASE MAKE SURE WHEN U GO THAT THE NURSE HAS ENOUGH EXPERIENCE TO PUT THE NEEDLE IN PROPERLY. This year I made a promise to myself to make a plasma donation every six days. January 4th was my first donation date for this year and I was looking forward to this being the start of many more to come. Everyone here is so pleasant and they all work hard to make the experience of donating blood or plasma as painless as possible.
I donated blood almost a year ago, and ever since I have been receiving "no ring" robo-calls that leave a message asking me to donate again. When I asked to be removed from their call list they refused unless I gave them more personal information. This is very disappointing behaviour from such an essential institution. I now regret having donated and will never donate again. I have reported their practices to the CRTC.
