Very disappointing, the only offered service is plasma. That means you need to trust the government to take your blood out, pump it through machines, and then pump it back. Ive read the questionnaire, they are terrified of a legion of blood borne viruses, why would I take the risk without a need? I wish I could help again, but its too dangerous. Canadian government incompetence strikes again.
Location: 3295 meloche rd. Had one of the most disappointing experiences at this blood bank. After calling ahead to confirm, I was explicitly told that blood donation was a walk-in process and that there was no need for an appointment. Based on that information, I drove nearly 80 km with the intention of donating. When I arrived, I was shocked to be refused.
