I had a great experience donating plasma at the Canadian Blood Services in London. The staff were kind, diverse, and made everyone feel welcome. It’s a big change from the Sudbury branch, where I felt there were francophone prejudices and less openness toward others. London truly shows what inclusion and respect should look like.
All I can say for here is they treat you amazing. They explain everything to the finest detail before they do it. Also make sure you are very comfortable and not nervous. Amazing with a needle. Wish nurses were as good. Once your done they offer you free drinks and snacks. I seen pop in a fridge and chips and cookies at every table. They encourage you to eat and drink something to help you replenish your system. They also have ample FREE PARKING and very easy access to the building for people with disabilities. I had a great experience donating blood at this location. The staff were friendly, professional, and made the whole process easy and comfortable. The clinic is clean, well-organized, and the snacks after donating are a nice touch! Highly recommend this place if you’re thinking about donating—especially if it’s your first time.

I have been a blood donor for 12 years, then I switched over to plasma. I started donating blood because before I started I didn’t know my blood type. I found out I am O positive. Now that I’ve donated blood for years I switched over to plasma.
