I went to donate blood today, not knowing I needed an appointment. I was turned away and given a number to call if I wanted to try to get one for tomorrow. I had been under the impression that Canadian Blood Services was desperate for blood supplies. It sure didn't seem so today.
I was at the seniors Drop-in center the other day to donate blood; Karen was the attendant that did my pre-donation screening. I just want to commend Karen for her great attitude and her ability to explain all of the screening protocols clearly which made my visit to the center enjoyable. Thanks, Karen, for a great job Cheers Adam
