Quoted a price and weight - said he was a professional over 20 years . We sold most of our stuff including the biggest heaviest items - whole bedroom sets granite table . Canoes , furniture . All kitchen items were quoted in and we sold it . They came the day of moving aggressively packed up out boxes . Dropped my boxes from waist height onto the dolly - the one guy actually threw the box like it needed to be thrown into position. Wow!! $6858,00 to move 1 partial living room of items 2 hours away??? WOW!! We Called Allied Van Movers, and they put us in touch with these overly expensive movers. We just got an absolutely outrageous $6858.00 quote to move my 90 yr old mothers living room items, wall units, 12 boxes of figurines and books plus a dining room table and chairs..These mover's quoted us outrageously - $6858.00.. for 1 room of furnishings.NO appliances!
