Tried to sell my car on Canada Drives based on some positive reviews I read online about selling quicky without hassle. Very sketchy vibes from the start (they outsource to places like mycar.ca) but trusted what I read. At the last minute they tried to offer me 3k less based on an accident on CarFax but clearly that was indicated when submitting a VIN via Canada Drives. Would definitely avoid and use Clutch.ca.
My experience with Kris J was fantastic. This was my first time selling a car instead of a trade in and he made the process seamless, stress free and enjoyable. Thanks Kris for your warmth, great candor and professionalism.
If I could leave negative stars I would...what a crappy operation...and be aware...Canada Drives filed for bankruptcy in 2023. I applied as I was looking for a vehicle...that was on a Thursday morning...no worries you have been approved we will have someone call you a 4 pm Thrusday...never got a call...here it is almost a week later...I sent a message..."customer lost, buh buy"...what a joke...ymmv Ah no sorry I do not give second chances...crappy from the start usually indicates crappy all the way through...done and done...... read more
