Can pro seems to monopolize the training for all of the hockey in and around Red Deer. We've utilized the training at CanPro for several years over the course of my three children being in hockey. I don't find it is the best training available, personal preference.I find there are a lot of young people who are the trainers, who aren't as knowledgeable as they should be when they're training our athletes. Great training and loads of incredible equipment.
This whole gym is athletics based, and a majority of it is based around hockey training. They have a lot of specialty equipment, including an “ice” treadmill and a small shooting centre. Most of the equipment here is designed to increase speed, agility, and power, which are all fundamental in hockey. Also great for the average gym goer!
This place is great, I suggest the one on one hockey training if you're interested in improving your skills. Staff have been great and their knowledge is remarkable
