I see a lot of negative reviews, but I had an excellent experience with Camtex. I had dropped my camera and the zoom lens needed repair because both the zoom and autofocus did not work properly. They fixed those problems, but after I got the lens back there still was an issue. When I brought the new problem to their attention they did not make a fuss and fixed the problem without any further charges.
Excellent service and workmanship. They fixed my badly damaged Sony a7riv like it was brand new again. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs service and repairs
Like many others have said in their review, this place, specifically the owner, is a complete and total scam. So much so, that they should rename themselves as “Scamtex”. I brought a camera in for repair, paid the $100 inspection fee. 2 weeks later I followed up because I didn’t hear anything. The owner said “the technician is still working on it”. 1 month goes by, and no word from the owner, so I follow up. He gives me the same answer.
