I purchased an RV from Camping World of Statesville in April 2025. The camper itself is great, but my experience with the dealership has been very disappointing. I have repeatedly tried to cancel my service agreement, but despite sending a certified mail request and making at least 15 phone calls, the dealer has not returned my calls or processed the paperwork. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this dealership.
Had a class A with tow trailer so we stopped at a Camping World to fill with propane gas. Thinking with the RV it would be easy in and out, and it would have been if a about 3 campers (not customers) were not park beside the LP gas pump making getting in and out to the pump difficult. Rate convenience a 3. What brings the rating back to a 4 was the employees. They were friendly and very helpful and courteous. They were a 5.
We received phenomenal service at Camping World of Statesville! Terrell was very quick and attentive with our requests in a camper and showed us the perfect one. We went in late on Saturday but got approval by Monday afternoon and we were able to sign and pick it up that week. Since then any minor issues we have had, he has been quick to respond and provide an answer! Our finance guy, Joey was also great to work with! Most unhelpful rudest employees and company I have ever purchased anything from. Never returns phone calls from the start always avoiding standing behind their product. Warranty department was a joke and the technicians did more damage than repairs causing much out of pocket expense and problems. They were not qualified to even tie their shoes.
