The sales team seemed good but unfortunately now that I've dealt with their service department I understand why most experienced RVers avoid camping world at all costs. Ended up being sold a trailer with quite a few problems. At first I requested an appointment for a few minor problems. Had a manager ask me what the issues were and then never heard from them again even after trying to follow up. This is not a review, just an experience we had. Recently we decided to look into toy haulers. We did not see any signs stating we could not drive in the sales lot and thought the very large open gate implied we could, as we can at other sales centers. We were on the lot for a while looking at the toy haulers. As we got back in our car and started to drive, a golf cart with an employee drove up and stated we could not drive in the sales lot. We bought a used rv onJune 29, after using it found many flaws in the unit, such as rotten spots in the floor, water leak when hook to city water, and electrical problem s, I when by and spoke with Eddy Hill a sales manger he told me to bring it back and they would fix the problems if they could or put us in a different unit. He then got me with our previous sales man Patrick Shirley, we ended up getting a nicer larger unit and still stayed within our price range. We spent all day there but got traded out the same day. They have had our 2021 Springdale sense July 23rd 2021, it’s now October 21st 2021 and parts still haven’t been ordered and no one will call us back from the service department! Don’t buy a camper or take a camper into them you’ll end up VERY disappointed!
kelly, in service dept. was very helpful. she knows whats up. she followed up with phone calls, appts. and made sure everything came off as it should. the camp world of hamburg wasn't this good a few years ago. kelly has renewed my faith in this hamburg location! c. kemp
