My wife and I had stopped in the store to start a new adventure and do some research. We were fortunate enough to meet Kevin Wormser who was our sales professional. I'm in the service business so I judge our experiences differently. He was a "10" very knowledgeable on the product, cared about your wants and needs to direct you to the right choice(s) of RV's to look at and stayed within budget. This place is the absolute worst place to do business that I have ever witnessed in my life. Especially terrible is their service department, and Good Sam is a scam.
Can say without a doubt, if their service department is an example of the company overall----------THEY SUCK !! Avoid them. Have called 3 times over a week to schedule to bring in my RV for service. Finally today, I told the lady that answered I didnt want the lady in service because she NEVER responds ! She said oh she's in her office I see her sitting back there I'll transfer you. Absolute worse customer service I have ever had...left us out of town with auto level not working first time in four week old rv. will not, I repeat, will NOT return calls - sales and service just happy to take your money and that's it...really regret this purchase...
Promises made, promises not kept. I live almost three hours from Clermont. I called about a destination trailer. I asked if it had any soft spots, and they said no. I told them I would be checking for soft spots. When I got there, I found a soft spot in the bedroom on the slide by the bed, and under the water heater was rotten—first lie. I'm extremely disappointed with the service department at Campers World located at 8001 Old Troy Pike Rd, Huber Heights, OH. Three weeks ago, we brought our RV in for several repairs and maintenance tasks, including antenna replacement, awning light repair, and a premium detailing package for $300+. We were told that the lights were on backorder, but despite multiple promises, we never received a follow-up call to update us on the status of our RV. Worst purchasing experience I've ever had in my lifetime they purposefully targeted disabled veterans and tried to sell me something that I did not receive secondly they did not correctly winterize the vehicle and now they're expecting me to pay for a damaged hot water heater before I took possession of the vehicle
We had to have a new bathroom fan installed in Jayco 5th wheel. We bought it in Huber Heights OH Camping World, and they were not very cooperative, but we finally got the fan and called Lake City FL Camping World to install the fan. Charlie the service manager was wonderful, she listened to us and got the service guys to come to Chiefland FL to come out and install the fan.
