We found this along the way while under mandatory evacuation of the flin flon wildfires. It was a great reprieve from a full day of work and then an emotion filled evacuation & anticipate drive of over 8 hours to get to our destination. I decided to cut it in half and get us some space here. We reached out to the owner to explain the situation. He was more than happy to rent to us, the kids and our dog. Really enjoyed our stay. I think it's more of a lodge than a cabin. It's quite large. There was no wifi when we were there, but real men don't need wifi in the forest (because they have a cell phone plan with lots of data ;) I'm in hotels about 300 days of the year, so it was a real treat to have a full kitchen to cook in. I didn't make use of the hot tub. I planned to use the BBQ, but it wasn't igniting, and it needed a good cleaning. I didn't want to bother anyone about it, and I had the kitchen anyway.
