The service department went above and beyond! For the wrong reason, they spent 4 days taking pictures and submitting documentation to decline a warranty claim on an $8 part. Upon inquiry on why it was declined they cited hard driving and an aftermarket oil cooler. Apparently an oil cooler can make your spark plug tube seal leak, sure. Subaru has a technical service bulletin outlining this issue and an updated seal but Toyota refuses to acknowledge the faulty part. Kudos to Bob Brewer (Service Manager) and his Service Team! What a great customer experience. On a trip from Ottawa to Southern Ontario, we experienced clutch issues with our manual transmission. It was a Friday afternoon, and when we called Chatham Toyota, they said to bring it in, and they would look at it.
