My Mother brought her 16yr old cat in after trying to make an emergency appt @ Coastland vet hosp & being told{quite rudely} that it will cost $500 for an a after hrs{they were full $ bumped 🐈 😺 to end of line}. OR Mom could drive to Nanaimo {3hrs away}. This hospital here, got my Mom in ASAP/STAT! & after a quick exam 😺was sent home with antibiotics. 5⭐'s & definitely recommend, plus they're accepting new patients now so....go go go!
My family is from Port Alberni and yesterday we had to say goodbye to our senior Labrador, Mala (14 years, 9 months). She had been slowly declining with age, and in the end her body simply let go. Two years ago, we were told she was palliative and too old for surgery - until we came to this clinic.
