All I can say is Wow! My '62 T-Bird was leaking coolant for quite some time and as a result was basically out of service. The leak was ultimately traced to a rusty freeze plug in the engine block. The repair involved loosening the engine mounts and lifting the engine up so that six freeze plugs could be accessed and removed and replaced with sturdier brass ones. Removing old freeze plugs and replacing them with new plugs is a pretty thankless and labor-intensive job. Many shops don't even want to take on that job. Not Keith... read more
