This place is amaizing. We booked and stayed during our weekend advanture with our friends. On the arriving day, I could not locate the email in regards to the information on this facility. We stayed at the RV site, I needed to charge my Tesla and my friends needed for their RVs. I called the phone number that was listed and got a call back from Mr. Johnson on the weekend during their off hours. He was very helpful and gave me all the information that I needed. Not a good place to stay if your using the RV sites. We booked a site because it's located between the two National Parks. We had to call over and over to get a hold of someone to book it. This should have been our first sign. We received an email a couple days later confirming the site with a crudely drawn map with directions to the RV sites. The map also had a warning to not go near a couple buildings... We arrived mid-afternoon and processed to the office, but it locked up. We called the number provided and no one answere... read more

This place was a great find. Searching online for lodging and hotels it never came up. If the place was called Camp Washington Lodging Carlsbad, NM or Camp Washington Hotel Carlsbad NM, it would come up on search engines. We had a group stay here and loved being able to be together prepared our meals ourselves and hung out inside and outside. Go to Carlsbad for food to bring back easily. The place is pretty, and far enough off the road. Plenty of space. It was close to the caverns and Guadalupe Park. Couldn't get better as f... read more
