Owners Bill and Kim Volk opened the Camp Robber in 1994 in downtown Montrose, Colorado. The concept for this unique restaurant began many years earlier when the owner's love of the mountains moved them from Albuquerque, New Mexico to Colorado. My husband took me out last night for a surprise, we had dinner which was very good, took a carriage ride around the Christmas lit pond and had delicious hot chocolate to top it all off. Camp Robber is a wonderful restaurant and the owner Kim was very friendly and attentive. We had a wonderful night made possible by this great establishment!
I was visiting my daughter and we decided to try Camp Robber and it was a beyond wonderful experience! We went on a Sunday (they close at 2) at about 1:30 and as time went on the restaurant got emptier and we were eventually the only ones! Out waitress Cindy, if I remember correctly was so sweet and didn't rush us at all! I had the pistachio chicken salad in avacado which was phenomenal and my daughter got the fettuccine alfredo! We had no wait before we were seated and enjoyed a delicious Sunday Brunch. We brought some out of town guests and we each ordered different choices from the menu. We went to the Camp Robber last night for our anniversary, and every thing was wonderful. It was made even more special with the fact that while eating, a song was playing over head that was played at our wedding 37 years ago. You guys are Great!

Great burgers after hunting all week! Service was good just need to fill our glasses more often. Again, great burgers!
