Owners Bill and Kim Volk opened the Camp Robber in 1994 in downtown Montrose, Colorado. The concept for this unique restaurant began many years earlier when the owner's love of the mountains moved them from Albuquerque, New Mexico to Colorado. They catered an event for us at the Red Arrow Hotel. Food was tasty and the staff very friendly.

My boyfriend and I went to the Camp Robber for the first time yesterday. We have heard so many good things about it so we decided to try it out. As soon as we walked in I was amazed at how beautiful it looked inside, the food was amazing and our waitress was extremely polite and friendly. She even wrapped our food up for us at the end of the night. Not to mention the music played out on the patio was awesome. Overall experience was a great one! :)

They have a gluten-free menu! Nice buffalo burger on a GF bun.
Went for lunch and it was great. The green chili chicken soup was awesome. The service was exceptional and every one was very friendly 😀"Great job"
Best Mexican food we've ever had. Quality! The enchiladas were the best. Wish there was one in California!!!
