My two daughters (now 8 and 10) have attended the camp for two years now and it has been a transformative experience. They went as timid, cautious little girls and came back as empowered thoughtful little women. If my wife and I had not seen the transformation first hand it would have been difficult to believe. That is not to say that both of my daughters were not homesick the first time they went, but we resisted the urge to pick them up and they loved it.
