I stayed at Camp Lucy with a group of nine women, and there were several other large groups staying at the property that week as well. The grounds are beautiful, but for a resort that clearly hosts groups and charges at this price point, the actual guest experience felt surprisingly disorganized and poorly thought out. Beautiful locations, I see why it is a sought out wedding venue. Newly weds and wedding guests will love it. Be sure to stop and feed the Alpacas!
I’m very disappointed. This is not the level of experience I thought I was getting when my friends and I were planning our stay, especially after all the hype. So many friends and acquaintances had rave reviews for this place. The reality is much different from the online marketing shows you. No… that is the full sentence. Not friendly. Elite attitudes to try to charge more with lack of service and emotional awareness. More explaining why they are right than trying to serve the patrons or potential patrons. Be warned.
