My 15yr old daughter is not home from her first CF experience yet (still has one more week), but I just received my first letter, which started with "I LOVE CAMP..AM HAVING SO MUCH FUN!!" The pictures posted on-line are awesome, and I can tell why she is having such a blast....she (and everyone) looks truly happy! Will update when she gets home.... :)
Camp Friendship was one of the most impactful experiences of my childhood. My experiences each summer spurred growth and instilled confidence and independence. Simply put, I'm a better man because of those seven summers, and the friendships I made as a child have endured for decades.
Camp Friendship hosted a girl scout group in April for a fabulous weekend. They were wonderful to work with and the staff was amazing with the girls. They clearly worked hard to make sure the camp was all ready for us and made the weekend run smoothly for over 150 girls. I have had so many compliments from leaders and parents on what a great experience it was. I wish I was a kid so I could go to summer camp at Friendship!
My 15 year old daughter attended summer 2016. And has been counting down to this year ever since. Being a camper she unplugged from electronics and made friends from all around the world. She enjoyed archery so much we had to build her a range in the back yard! Second part of the summer she wanted to stay so bad she returned as a CIT and learned child care and leadership skills that have carried over to school and now a job! I give it a 5 �!
It's very hard to put into words just what Camp Friendship has done for me and what it means to me. In my years at camp, I have tried new activities, branched out, met some of the best friends of my life and grown immeasurably as a person. Camp has given me the most incredible memories as well as crucial skills that I use in my life every single day. I truly cannot recommend Camp Friendship highly enough!
This camp literally made me who I am today. It gave me confidence to be who I wanted to be. It gave me amazing memories that I will never forget. It is like a second home to me and I could not imagine a better summer experience for youth.
Grew up attending Camp Friendship, many of my favorite memories were created here!!
