I couldn't imagine a better place to grow up!
I just found photos of my boys who spent a few summers there around 10 years ago. They loved it there. They had great memories from their time at camp and learned skills they will have forever!
I spent two weeks there in 1970 as an eight-year-old. Loved it. In the ten years after that, I spend a few weekends there with some youth groups and just up the shore at a family friend's cabin. Great memories. I would have loved to return and longed to learn to sail. However, I don't think my parents could afford it. People who haven't seen Lake George, haven't seen a real lake. (BTW, if anyone has a year book and I'm wrong on the year, feel free to correct me.)
