I found out about Bow Wow from my son who would bring his dog. Jake(my boxer) has been going to Camp Bow Wow since he was 8 mos old. I bring him from around April (though this year was June) to October/November depending on the weather. He doesn't go in the winter because he has a small case of hip dysplasia and we rather him not lay on cold cement. All we have to say to him is "Jake Bow Wow" and he's running around the house. I took my dog in for an “interview” where he was taken to the back and over about a 5-8 minute span more dogs were placed into the same play area as him- which quickly turned into about 10-15 dogs. After about 10 minutes he was brought back to me where they told me he was “too nervous, especially around dogs that were bigger than him” and “showed his teeth” so he was not allowed to stay. Love it here. They know my dog by name and he loves the staff. It's great to be able to see him at anytime on the cameras. They also offer doggy baths, and it's well worth the cost. That way your dog comes home tired but clean after a day of fun.
