I love going to Camp Bow Wow Diablo Valley! My dogs get to play in the yard with the other pups, attended by people who really care for the dogs. They may not always play with the pups but I know they are keeping a close eye on them all. When I take them home they are hungry and ready for bed, just like me, so its perfect. I am a very high strung pet parent. My dog is prone to separation anxiety and I'm very reluctant to leave him with just anyone. I have worked for a dog walking/sitting business and at this camp location. They are very hands on and understanding with pet parents and animals. I have personally texted photos or updates to pet parents who struggle to go on vacation like I do. My dogs and I are in love with Camp Bow Wow. The staff is always very knowledgeable about dogs and have surprised me with a ton of doggie info that I myself as a dog fanatic did not know about before! My dogs are so happy to go to Camp and the staff know them by name and make a huge fuss about them! Everything there is always so clean and I just do not know how they do it. Very Disappointed! I called them to make a reservation for December 2012. We are doing a road trip from Florida to Texas and stopping in New Orleans for two days. I called to make a reservation and they said they need an interview done at least a day before the dog can stay. When I tell her that we arrive that day and we cannot go the day before since we will not be in New Orleans she says that for the holidays they may be completely booked. I've been bringing my pups to CBW since 2009. The owner Roman is one of the nicest people you can meet. The staff is just awesome! They welcome me and my pups with a smile every time I walk through the door. I absolutely love the cameras. It keeps me at ease when I'm able to check on the pups and see them playing and running around.
Our dog loves Camp Bow Wow. She gets to interact with other dogs of her size and the general staff are very committed and friendly. However, we are terribly disappointed with the groomer at Camp Bow Wow, and with the management for employing this person. We had our large long haired Siberian dog groomed there in mid-December with explicit verbal instructions to the on-site groomer to only trim the hair on the pads of our dog's paws. The groomer then shaved our winter snow dog's abdomen and upper hind legs down to the skin. T... read more
I love this place, and so does my dog! They staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The facility is clean and safe. My dog loves going there! I never worry when I leave him there for day care or for boarding.
