The staff here is amazing! They worked with me on setting up a beautiful picnic to propose to my fiancé! They also had camp counselors take videos and photos for me. The stay was wonderful, from the food and drinks to the beautiful cabin we stayed in. Also, we felt incredibly welcomed here as a LGBT couple. Would definitely recommend this incredible getaway!
Such a beautiful and relaxing stay! It’s an easy drive from Chicago but offers the perfect dose of nature and quiet. The tents and property are stunning, and it was exactly the refreshing break we needed. If you’re looking to unplug and unwind, this is the place to do it. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful girls’ getaway. The surrounding area was gorgeous, and our accommodations were lovely. The tent was quaint yet spacious enough for our needs. The staff were amazing—friendly, fun, and very accessible. The food was delicious, and we truly loved the entire experience.
Camp Aramoni is AMAZING! 12 of us arrived on the first day of the season to a welcoming staff who took our luggage to our cabins, oriented us, and were available to help with anything we needed (like more firewood for our bonfire.) The food is incredible--delicious, plentiful, and presented beautifully. The grounds are great for exploring. It's also 10 minutes from Starved Rock State Park for more scenery and hiking. HIGHLY recommended, and I can't wait to go back!
