On my recent trip to Florida I carried my Canon 24-105 f/4 L lens for some repairs and servicing. This is my main work horse lens and I was very skeptic about leaving it in the hands of people I knew nothing about except for the few reviews on Google. This place is a Joke... My mode dial no longer locks on my D7100.... So I ask how much to change the dial... He says bring in the camera.... So he looked at the camera puts it into AP Mode in dark room at ISO 100 starts spinning the back wheel and says AP mode broke we have to change the whole top... OK first off just cause I am female don't make me stupid... My camera is set up for easy exposure... So that's what the back thumb dial does adjust exposure the front wheel adjust Aperture and the aperture is not going to change... read more
Camlab is the best! We've used them 3-4 times now for different things and wouldn't go anywhere else. Completely reasonable, professional, and trustworthy. They take the time to explain things and really care about their customers.
I just picked up my lens today, I had a broken lens mount. He confirmed the problem then quoted the price. BAM done. It only took a day for them to do it (though I didn't pick it up until a week later). The lens is now working perfectly thank god! The guys were very quick any to the point which is a huge plus. I think I was only in their office no longer than 10 min counting together the time I came in to show the problem and the time I picked it up and paid for it. Thanks guys!
Used them only once, for a damaged mirror on my Canon 5D, and a sensor cleaning. All in all, the experience was great, the price was reasonable, the work done quickly and professionally. I feel that I finally found the real deal and will certainly use them again
