I’ve been coming here for a few years and this spot was always my favorite. In the last year I feel like it’s gone downhill drastically. The staff isn’t friendly anymore, they are eating and drinking behind the counter, and they are talking nonstop while making your drink. I’ve had instances where my drink is just sitting there halfway made while they are lost in conversation, when the drink would have been made and delivered in that time. Paid $4 for a large black drip coffee, was asked if my name was Stan, then told after I paid that they don’t have a full cup worth of black coffee. They presented some setup where they’d give me an americano, but the 3/4 cup was already there so just I told him not to worry about it. The food looks nice. The seating is arranged so that there aren’t any like, private corners to settle into ur work, which made it hard to relax? Is that weird to write about a cafe? Long time patron of Camino on 4th. First time visit to this location. Went in to this location around 8:20pm on 5/30/26. I realize they close at 9pm, but both employees were sure to make it painfully clear that we were not to be able to enjoy our desserts at the location as they were closing promptly at 9pm. Not only were they painfully clear in their closing time to us, the family of 5 who walked in just after us got the same spiel.
