Detox was good. I did it just in case as I really wanted to nip this in the butt right away so to speak. It went well the little bit of residue still left in my system was cleared out. Idk if i really needed it but it helped build me up. The staff was positive on this end. They did mess with my meds a bit but i put up with it as i was there to be sober. However, soon as we switched to the rehab side things took a turn for the worse. They dont tell you anything about the religion and the praying so you have to stand there awk... read more

in April 1984 I know had to get a divorce from an unhealthy relationship with alcohol..wasn't sure what to do...reached out and asked for help and in May 8 1984 went into the Camillus Centre...at that time the centre was in the basement of the hospital...Sister Jean was director and Art and Elaine counselors....I did what the counselors said to do and they and the centre will always have a special place in my heart....thx u....42 years continous soberity...
I've been twice. I know I'll be back. I highly recommend this facility if you're tired and don't know what's next for you. The facilitators cared, genuinely. They knew their stuff and read/saw through my B.S. I needed that. I was open to it, I wasn't ready for the reality check. It was exactly what I needed. Thank you.
