Employee went the extra mile!! Today, when I called and asked to speak with a patient care advocate, I was transferred to Ms. J Laiken's voicemail at Cameron Regional Medical Center. She returned my call and let me know that Dr. Shoaib is no longer with Cameron Regional Medical Center and was not sure how she could help us. my mom is currently at this hospital. the only reason is because of the roads sunday morning. this is her third stay since september. the nurses on the floor are sub par to put it bluntly. the cnas have much better bedside manner. the response times for not only the call button but requests for updates are ridiculous. my biggest complaint is that every single admission, every single day she has been in the hospital and with every single nurse or doctor or cna i have spoken with about my mom getting soup for her meals has nev... read more

This hospital has the worst patient communication of any place that I've been. Billing never answers the phone and says they'll call you back.
