We found this little gem after our car broke down in Duck and we were getting service done in Manteo. We were a bit worried about traveling with our little dogs, but this location was perfect and the host reassured us that they were “more than welcome”! The guest room doesn’t share wall with the Owner residence and honestly, I didn’t even see them until our way out (you never know what to expect when renting a place) and the privacy was great. O my goodness! This sweet inn met and exceeded all of my and my sister's expectations. It is located in the heart of Manteo. Walking distance to restaurants and pubs. Safe to walk at night and just for a stroll anytime. The Sandpiper suite was where we stayed. It was beautifully appointed with a large bathroom with a tub and shower. There was a large closet and a handy dresser with a mirror. Several windows let in a lot of natural light, but curtains and shades got it dark for uninterrupted sleep on 2 queen sized beds.
