Total ripoff! I was completely taken advantage of and the owner should be ashamed. I usually go to Peace Camera or Southeastern, but I was in Durham, passed by the shop and checked it out. Very quaint and obviously needs the business. I didn't need anything that day, so I made a special trip out there when I needed a 1/4 to 3/8 screw converter. This screw is smaller than a thimble. Did a great job – I do admit that it did take some time to repair my camera, but the job was done right the first time. I have had my digital camera back for almost 1 year and it is still working great.

Terrible Customer Service and Repair – BEWARE! First off, when you are told you are going to be called back, they don't. A digital camera with nothing wrong other then the LCD screen being broke was taken in. A week went by and no call back with a quote. Took 2 weeks to get just a quote! Then repair is authorized and they "will call". Again no call for over a week. This continues on back and forth for over a month! Finally it is told that they couldn't repair it and would need to be sent back to the manufacturer for repair. ... read more
