I had an amazing experience at Cameo! The dresses were all what I considered to be reasonably priced and almost all were within my budget (which was not extravagant). The selection was incredible, and how cool is it that they carry local Calgary designers like Lis Simon? I purchased my dress in November and it arrived in March, pretty quick turnaround for wedding dresses. I had a very disappointing experience with my semi-custom gown from Cameo & Cufflinks. The dress I received was not what I ordered. The neckline was loose and unstructured, and the skirt had visible puckering. I flagged the issues immediately, but my concerns were downplayed. Two separate seamstresses later confirmed the dress had construction flaws. Initially cameo committed to supporting having the issues fixed but walked that support back. I had the most amazing experience at Cameo and Cufflinks! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel so special and welcomed. Suzie helped me find the perfect dress, even though I came in very unsure of what style I was looking for. The selection was gorgeous, and I never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. My experience with Cameo & Cufflinks (which shares ownership with Mountain View Bridal in Cochrane) was incredibly stressful, and not what anyone should have to deal with in the lead-up to their wedding.
