Christal Lederman is an incredible hairdresser. After she colored my hair, I told my daughter about her. Christal then colored her hair and it looks better than I have ever seen it! And both of us have been to professional hair salons. Christal is professional, friendly and extremely good at her chosen profession. And I can't believe she is still in school. Whatever salon she ends up at, will be lucky to have her.

As an aspiring cosmetologist and current student attending Cameo (2000hours), I believe this school's priority is business over education. If you're looking for a place for hair cuts or colors ect. then this place is great. We're trained before we're allowed to work on clientelle. Keep in mind though, this IS a school so appointments may take longer than your licensed professional...we are still learning. Think twice about going here for electrolysis! I went to Cameo 'College' for electrolysis, and got a rash on my upper lip that kept re-occuring. I went to the school owner Brenda Scharman to ask her to arrange an appointment with a dermatologist. I only wanted this rash diagnosed. She instead set up an appointment with the school's plastic surgeon. He was aggressive and threatening, saying he couldn't see any rash, when it was very visible, and threatening that if anyone said Cameo caused the rash, he "would see them in cour... read more

Best Year!. This had to be the best year yet!! I loved their free services without a ticket. I had the opportunity to try electrolysis, which I was scared at first, but now glad that I did and will go back to do…

This school is a joke and I'm completely shocked there have not been numerous lawsuits filed against it. Many of the students are so far in debt to the school when graduating they can not get their license. These girls are lied to about student loans and fines when they enroll. They are also made to sign a form saying if they contact a lawyer they will be automatically terminated from the program. That should have been a huge red flag. money hungry business, end of story – Cameo is fine to go to for a hair cut or color, but if your thinking about going there for school, SIT DOWN TILL THAT NOTION PASSES! This school is a business, and when it comes down to it, that is all that matters to them. They are money hungry and know every trick in the book to get every cent they can out if their students.

Great students – I brought my 2 girls here and we saw more than a couple of the students. They were all very helpful and great.
