I just went to Camellias and had a wonderful time. I don't know what the previous reviewer meant by it not being "child friendly" as I took my 7 month old baby and they were very accommodating. They weren't offended by my breastfeeding and they even sliced up a banana for him. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff friendly, and the food delicious. 5 stars from me!
Don't take your children!!!! – My daughter attended a birthday party at the tea room today and I was stunned at how rude the staff treated both the eight year old girls and their parents. My daughter told me that the people were “mean” and told them to be quiet various times as to not disturb the other patrons. Perhaps the tea room should not hold parties for eight year olds if they don’t expect a bit of noise. Or perhaps another room should be set up specifically for parties if you intend on young girls enjoying themselves.... read more
