I was a "vendor" at this location for a wedding. A photographer hired by the happy couple to capture their special day. The venue itself is lovely! The staff seemed friendly enough at the rehearsal. They were kind enough to show us around the various buildings. The event went well enough. Thankfully, the weather was beautiful and we didn't have any issues with rain. I gotta say it’s a beautiful place. And marilyn is awesome. My only issue here was the wedding planner Carla. Over all i could tell she was a good person. But if you are a girl like me and need a planner who is super happy and has a smile on her face this isn’t the place. Looking back i’m not too sure if she was an option to have or not. DONT EVER COME HERE!!!! I had the worst experience here with the staff of entitled women at this venue. The little girl who's family owns this place is a horrible person, I mean horrible! These women do not care about your event, they just want your money. DONT EVER BOOK A WEDDING HERE! Horrible customer service
My husband & I got married in September at Camellia Gardens. Marilyn is lovely and accommodating, and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. There are plenty of options for ceremony and reception areas, lots of space for both the grooms suite and bridal suite! It made everything so much easier — plenty of options as well for rain plans.
