The Camden Riverhouse Hotel & Inn at 11 Tannery Lane in Camden Maine is fantastic. The management and staff are helpful and generous. I stayed one night and then returned from a sailing trip seven days later. I had an anticipated ride to the airport in four hours. While waiting the staff at Camden Riverhouse let me store my luggage at their front desk, use the amenities at the hotel, and lounge in their front room and on their outside patio. The building and rooms are beautiful and clean. I highly recommend this hotel.
Riverside Hotel – Camden, ME ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic stay at the Riverside Hotel! The central location made exploring Camden effortless—we could easily walk everywhere we wanted to go, and having easy, hassle-free parking right on-site was a huge bonus. A nice hotel right in the middle of town within walking distance to everything. Clean big rooms next to the small river (more of a large creek), with in room electric fireplaces, and large showers. Not real a 5 star hotel but for this small beautiful little town it is very nice. Good continental breakfast with waffles and sausage. Good coffee machine and a fire pit outside. Not really a river view but next to it. I’d stay here again.
We live an hour away from Camden and have been a few times but have never stayed overnight. As we drove through town and saw all the picturesque guest houses and B & B type places, I started to feel disappointed that we'd decided on the river house, being just a big brick "motel-ish" looking place. Checking in was a bit lengthy as the lady behind the counter seemed to need an extra 10 minutes solving a problem, but she was pleasant, and we were soon on our way.
