Awful experience at Camden Hospital – completely unacceptable. I took my daughter to Camden Hospital after she developed severe facial swelling from a dental infection. Her dentist had drained the infection, placed a temporary filling, and prescribed antibiotics. He made it very clear that if the swelling had not gone down within 24 hours, it was an emergency, as the infection could spread throughout her body. Hurt myself at home staff here were great. Nurses and the doctors are wonderful. could not ask for better treatment. Great job all round.

I'm a regular (unfortunately)every 4 weeks for infusions. The staff are fantastic, caring and attentive. Due to a State Government decision the MACS facility is being moved to Campbelltown Hospital where the parking is diabolical. Camden Hospital is still a valuable asset to the local community providing many additional services.

I wouldn't bother going to the So called emergency department at camden. Patients waiting over 5 hours and still haven't seen a doctor. Patients with suspected broken ankle leaving because they aren't getting seen. Maybe 4 or 5 Patients in waiting room. No Patients brought in by ambulance. So what are these So called over worked nurses an doctors doing. Talking, having a bite to eat. I gave up and left after 4 1/2 waiting with a referral from a gp with suspected cut tendon in my finger. Worse emergency department I've ever e... read more
