Went into the ER for vision loss and was eventually diagnosed and sent on my way with 1000mg of acetazolamide. I was told everything was mostly neurological and Dr. Jeffery Ferrier saw me in the ER. Was supposed to get an appointment 2 weeks after getting out of the ER on April 29th 2025. Called and they said they couldn't see me till July 22nd. Ended up having multiple severe side effects from the medicine to the point where I thought I was gonna fall over and die. Tried calling to have them tell Dr. Ferrier what was wrong ... read more
I've been going to this place for years and I for 1 agree with all these comments. I developed problems with my medication that I had been on for years. It had started causing dizziness and me to fall every time I took my morning dose. Dr. Smith wouldn't even listen to me and told me there was nothing she could do. I've had epilepsy for 40 years and she acted like I didn't even know what I was talking about. Dr. Smith is one of the worst Drs I've ever met. Dr Ham was dismissive and rude. She mocked my particular situation. Just because someone believes differently than you do, does not make them crazy, nor does it give anyone the right to be demeaning and re-trigger emotional pain caused by others that lack compassion and empathy. The difference between God and doctors is that God doesn’t wake up thinking he’s a doctor everyday. I only wish we had a machine to make doctors feel the way we have/do because I don’t think they could handle the things we are asked to live with.
