Will NEVER allow my loved one's to visit this ER ever again. The nurse did not know how to administer an IV. When my elderly mother told her to stop because the nurse was hurting her she said she is going to put the IV wherever she can put it. Total disregard for my sick mother. The nurse asked if we wanted her to get the Charge Nurse and we said yes. Charge came and had no problem inserting the IV, but it was all down hill from there. I hate to leave a low review on a hospital, I know its hectic and this job is very difficult. But there is absolutely no urgency here, which is insane to say about an ER. I was here with a loved one multiple times, and while the nurses were kind and took care of her, the wait times were absurd and it felt like nobody was communicating anything. The nicest people I have ever met in a medical facility made me feel comfortable and cared for!
Lovely staff
All CAMC HOSPITALS have went to the dogs so to speak. Rude, will not let patient explain things, acts luke the patient dont know what is wrong with them in areas of their body, nurses set at the station in ER at Memorial and cuss and talk stuff about the patients.....violating the HIPPA LAW!!!!
