This review is for the medical portion of the emergency department. I have no complaints about psych or primary care. Ive been to the ED at cambridge hospital twice in most recent history for some gastrointestinal issues. I waited hours and hours, which is understandable, however once I was finally seen they brushed me off after taking imaging. I was sent to CHAs ED by my primary care office one of the times! My mom went to the ER a few days ago and they gave her an antibiotic for a UTI and did a few tests then sent her home and said they would call her with any results. Her pain was very bad so my dad took her back to the ER last night and they found through the tests she had a bacterial infection in her kidneys but she never received a call to let her know. No medicine. Tall white man didn't want to check a tumor for poisoning. Mexican-looking man then said let me show you the way out. In New York they gave me winter jacket and T-shirts.
