As good an experience as going to the ER can be. Not crowded, had my own room, lovely staff overall. Felt very cared for and checked in on throughout my stay.
The only ER i’ll go to from here on out - i’ve been in twice, once for me and once for a friend, and both times they’ve been incredibly prompt, considerate, thorough and kind.
Doctor who discharged me was very rude and very irresponsible/ unprofessional. First doctor on second shift was great, very empathetic, and wanted to eagerly find my problem/issue! When shift changed to the third shift, the doctor directly came in and said that everything came back fine so to just follow up with my pcp! I explained the pain was still there but not as bad because of the pain medication they had me on and that I was terrified it would attack again. This is for psychiatric emergency services, they do a great job. Less dehumanizing experience than many other emergency psychiatric settings, thats a definite.
