The first time I met Dr. Elizabeth Schlesinger, she was very friendly and went the extra mile to help me. I’m truly grateful for her care and excellent service. I really appreciate it.
I was billed even though I was early for my appointment and not seen by the doctor. After waiting 1.5 hours to not see my doctor after check-in I cancelled the appointment with the front desk. Fast forward 2 weeks goes by I get a charge from the hospital for the appointment…seriously be better with charging and billing patients. This isn’t the first time they have messed up with billings and billing codes.
We had a terrible experience with CHA which resulted in death… Full disclosure, we met with hospital officials they denied any responsibility and gave us their condolences Here is our story… Our family member suffered from bi-polar and we were very involved in his care. We were strong advocates and begged CHA to help us. 1. April 2024 - did a wellness check, asked the doctor to do a pregnancy test. Dr said would call should results positive. No call, no nothing until May 2024 - I did the at home test and found out I was 11week pregnant. Immediately after, found out I had a silent miscarriage. Cambridge health charged me $1480 for miscarriage treatment and denied any responsibility for losing my sample in April. 2.
