Worst Bike Store Ever I have been a commuter cyclist for 10 years and have lots of experience with bike shops. Cambridge Bicycle is by far the worst. I used it because it was the closest one to me, but the staff are exceptionally rude and their skills with bike repair are terrible. One guy over-tightened a spoke and damaged my wheel so what would have been a simple truing job wound up being a brand new wheel build. I have a friend who bought a bicycle there and the bike was defective - the shop did nothing to fix the problem... read more

Rude, cramped, and expensive The staff have a terrible attitude -- rude, condescending, and unpleasant. Plus, the shop is small and uncomfortable, their selection is not great, and they're expensive. Avoid unless desperate. Note: this review is about the Cambridge location. I haven't been to the Boston location -- it may be better.

bikes This is a good shop, and you can usually find what you need, but their selection isn't great. The store itself is somewhat small, but there's usually a decent selection of bikes to be bought. Their selection of accessories could be bigger, and even though I like to support local businesses I sometimes leave the bike shop feeling unsatisfied by their offerings.
