The hotel itself was nice, but there were quite a few issues during our stay. First of all, our cable box connected to the TV on the dresser wouldn't work. We reported this issue to the front desk and they said they would have someone fix it. By the time we checked out, 3 days later, nobody had come to even look at it. Secondly, the bathroom light switch was busted and was super hard to flip. Also, the microwave sounded broken and we did not feel comfortable using it. Nice hotel, although our fridge didn't work. They wouldn't let us check in until 3. It was 2:30.Then I had to stand in line for 10 minutes. There were kids running up and down the hall, screaming at 10:30 at night. That woke me up. So not my favorite stay. But, it was a nice place.
Management called to discuss my concerns. The room furnishings felt very old. There was metal trim coming off the closet door which is a safety concern. Knob on the fridge was pulled off and missing leaving guest to wonder if it’s a safe setting. General feel of the room was old and had not had any updates in some time. We have stayed at this hotel two separate times now. This time, off season for 5 nights so we could spend some time visiting the places we see but are so busy during peak season on motorcycle. Everything time we were in the lobby, we were greated warmly by staff. They remembered that I drink coffee in the morning and hot water at night so they always made sure it was fresh and hot no matter when we went down to the lobby.
