Started the journey of replacing ancient bridgework, held in with broken down tooth roots and metal posts. Day one, extractions and fitting of a temporary denture that will be my friend for the next six months or so while the sockets heal and I grow some new bone. Mission accomplished with minimum of fuss, zero discomfort and a finished look that is already a vast improvement on the old bridge. Many thanks to all involved.
