Dr. Camarata did my first chiari decompression surgery. He did it so inadequately that I needed 2 more to finally have symptom relief. Soon after his surgery, I was diagnosed with hospital acquired brainstem demyelination that happened from severe untreated electrolyte imbalance after surgery. I did not receive any food or fluids during my entire 5 day ICU stay despite vomiting dozens of times a day.
