Clean and quiet camping
Great place, quite and no one here but us and the countless ducks. Needless to say lots of suck poop too
I have been going to Lake camanche since the early early seventies. Always the North shore. I didn't realize what I was missing by not going or at least inspecting the South shore. I wanted to take my dogs for a ride today since it was raining let's go check out Lake camanche South shore. They have everything from tent camping to rving to renting cabins. I know that it's a good place to fish but I saw the biggest male deer I've ever seen on the western side of the Sierras. I would easily say it would have been a state record... read more
