Do not trust this company. I had them come out to check on hardly used older heat pump to see why it wasn’t heating. They did a “thorough inspection “ and said my unit had a leak and since it was “so old” and used the R22 refrigerant it couldn’t be fixed and I had to replace it. They then quoted me $11,600 for a brand new system. I called another contractor and he said he would look at it. He came and checked everything. Freon was good, condenser was good, no leeks anywhere. Great experience. My outside heat pump had gotten jostled around when a tree fell during hurricane Helene. CAM returned my call and the technician came as promised. He was very professional, thorough in his analysis of the situation, and explained everything as he went. I could have not been more pleased. CAM Heating & Cooling has brought our 1910 home into the twenty first century. The house has never been equipped with HVAC until today. The second floor is comfortable, quiet, and warm. Evenly warm. Gone are the days of being jolted awake by the ancient electric wall heaters roaring to life in the middle of the night. Or being so hot in the summer that you cannot sleep.
