Leather gallery assistant was pleasant. Overall experience poor, greeting at front entrance never happened. Walking through the gallery was difficult to navigate and the gentleman that did finally greet us disappeared quickly and was less than eager to assist. I was prepared to spend a lot of money on furniture, but the overall experience was disappointing. Too many competitors available to spend hard earned money at a business thats fails to meet basic customer service.
We bought a full bedroom set this summer. My wife and I agreed this Amish built set is the best furniture we have ever owned. Delivery was professional and very careful when bringing all the large and heavy items into our house. One nightstand had a rough drawer slide and the service tech replaced it the same week. We were very satisfied and have ordered a dining room set too.
We are very pleased with the furniture we bought from Calvin's. In our situation, we downsized from a 1940's individual room style home to a 21st century open space. What we bought from our old home wouldn't work - their style was not appropriate or they were too bulky. I rarely write negative reviews, but I feel it’s necessary to share my experience given the cost of this purchase. I recently bought a kitchen set for $3,500 after being told that a new set would be ordered from the factory. When I asked if there would be any additional discount because the one on display was already out, I was told no since mine would be new. We are happy to post how helpful our sales person, Debbie was. She was responsive to our taste, and took the time to take us around the entire gallery to show a range of end tables. Our purchase was small but she treated us with respect. Her attitude alone will make us return again. Thank you Debbie!
